Fear on Screen

The Essay “Fear on Screen” explores how monsters in film depict social anxieties. Design as an imaginary additional chapter to the book Ways of Seeing by John Berger, the essay visually alludes to the graphic design of the original book. The placement of images are also controlled to facilitate a change of impression on the various monsters, before and after explaining its social contexts.
